Built in 1987, students living in this Suffolk County community can attend the Hauppauge School District #6. You can reach The Lakes At Honey Hollow from the Long Island Expressway Exit 55N. On Motor Parkway make the 1st right turn onto Old Willets Path and approximately 1 mile to the Entry gate on the left. There is a code-gated call system at the entry and as you drive through the community on Kristin Lane you pass a relaxing gazebo and beautiful pond. There are amenities here too with a clubhouse, pool and tennis and pets are welcome here. These are townhouse style floor plans with central air conditioning and gas heat. Leisure Glen can easily be reached by taking the Long Island Expressway to Exit 68N to Whiskey Road where you will turn left and then right on Randall. This is an active senior 55+ community that was built in the 1980’s with semi-attached ranch floor plans and 1 car garage. In 2000, detached free standing ranch designs with 2 car garages were constructed. Each unit at Leisure Glen has an attached garage, patio, central air conditoning, gas heat and medical emergency systems. Leisure Glen has a 24 hour attended entry gatehouse and paved private roads. There’s a spacious olympic size outdoor pool and hot tub area , 2 lighted tennis courts, shuffleboard, pickle board, bocci, horseshoes, and the mile long paseo path for your enjoyment. Indoors there is a 15,000 square foot clubhouse where you will find a 350 person auditorium, the Greenery Lounge, clubs, billiard room, card rooms, pottery room, wall street room, exercise room, library, music room, sewing room, photography lab, the travel club and ticket office. This is a 24 hour secure gated commnity that was opened in 1989 in The Glen Cove School District #5. You can reach this exquisite community from Dosoris Lane to Lattingtown Road. Lattingtown Ponds is a private community situated around Athem Drive, Robin Court, Cardinal Court, Sparrow Court, and Swan Court and is across the road from the Glen Cove Golf Course.
The community is located on approximately 60 prime acres and it offers a clubhouse, pool, tennis, pond, beach rights, landscaping, and snow removal. Each unit has a garage and full basement. The Greens in Melville is an active 55 and over retirement community in Suffolk County on Long Island’s North Shore.
You can reach The Greens by the Long Island Expressway Exit 50 or the Northern State Parkway Exit 41. Opened in 2003, The Greens in Melville is a gated community featuring 24 hour security. The Greens monitors those who enter and exit the community providing a secure environment for the residents.
There is a variety of housing styles at The Greens in Melville. The Villas are 2 semi-attached homes with three designs including a ranch, a two story with master on the main level, and a colonial with all bedrooms on the upper floor. Each of these Villas has a 2 car garage, some may have a basement, and some have golf views. These Villas are at the higher end of the pricing structure at The Greens. The next group are the Townhouses. These are 4 attached townhomes grouped together. The interior units have a 1 car garage, and the 2 end units have a 2 car garage. The master bedroom is on the main level, and some of these townhomes may have a basement and some have an elevator up to the loft area. The most affordable units at The Greens are the condos. These are all attached units with 2cozy floor plans either on the upper or lower level. These do not have any garage space, but there is ample parking in front of the condo.
Living at The Greens is a leisure style with the added pleasure of plenty amenities. There is a spacious active clubhouse that includes an indoor pool, a fitness center, card rooms, media room, a restaurant, and lounge.
