Leisure Glen can easily be reached by taking the Long Island Expressway to Exit 68N to Whiskey Road where you will turn left and then right on Randall. This is an active senior 55+ community that was built in the 1980′s with semi-attached ranch floor plans and 1 car garage.  In 2000,  detached free standing ranch designs with 2 car garages were constructed.  Each unit at Leisure Glen has an attached garage, patio, central air conditioning, gas heat and medical emergency systems.  Leisure Glen has a 24 hour attended entry gatehouse and  paved private roads.  There’s a spacious olympic size outdoor pool and hot tub area , 2 lighted tennis courts, shuffleboard, pickle board, bocci, horseshoes, and the mile long paseo path for your enjoyment.  Indoors there is a 15,000 square foot clubhouse where you will find a 350 person auditorium,  the Greenery Lounge, clubs, billiard room, card rooms, pottery room, wall street room, exercise room, library, music room,  sewing room,  photography lab, the travel club and ticket office.  There are computerized horse races, movie night, bingo, and special events and parties.  Leisure Glen is managed by a homeowner’s association, and the maintenance fee includes professional lawn care of your home and the common areas, in ground sprinklers, trash collection, and snow removal.

  Leisure Glen has many different floor plans including the Quincy at approximately 1,140 sq ft, to the largest which is the Maidstone at about 1,685 sq ft.  All the homes have 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths, and when available, there are some resale units  with a den or greenery room.  There is an attached  1 car or 2 car garage with access from the inside of the unit.  The In-House TV on Channel 14 is broadcast throughout the day and basic cable is included in the monthly charges. A courtesy bus comes to the neighborhood a few times a week and goes to different shopping centers, houses of worship, and day trips.  According to public records for 2008, homes at Leisure Glen sold between $240,000 to $438,000.  To buy in this community, there is a non-refundable Entrance Fee and a representative will meet with you to discuss the details of the community.  This is a great place for your leisure lifestyle and isn’t it great to be 55 and better!
