Leisure Knoll 55 and Over at Ridge Long Island

Leisure Knoll is a 55 and over active adult community located in Ridge Long Island. As their sign states “established in 1972″ Leisure Knoll is a well-established community run by a homeowners association. There are approximately 600+ detached single family style ranch homes (there are some duplexes) in a well-kept neighborhood for active seniors.

Leisure Knoll has a clubhouse, pool, and tennis. In the evenings there is roving security for the safety of the residents. There are so many active clubs at Leisure Knoll that you can keep busy all the time if you want to. And, if there isn’t a club that you’re looking for, we were told by an extremely helpful and  very nice Knoll resident that you can start one of your own.

There is a courtesy bus that comes by twice a day to take you to different stores and shopping, and day trips are also arranged. Grass is maintained and snow removal is taken care of as part of the common charges. When LARRY AND SHEILA Realtors with Charles Rutenberg Realty checked public records for the year 2008, we found that homes at Leisure Knoll sold between $150,000 for a 2 bedroom 1 bath unit to $290,000 for a 2 bedroom 2 bath home.
