Situated in Smithtown Long Island, there is a private gated all-age community called Windcrest. You can navigate to this townhouse community just East of Terry Road and North of Route 347.
Opened in 2002 on Long Island’s North Shore, Windcrest features attached townhouses in a beautiful setting. This is a Planned Unit Development (PUD) run by a homeowner’s association. It has 2 gated entrances with touch-pad code, a clubhouse, gym, pool, tennis and a relaxing gazebo overlooking the pond with spraying fountain.
Windcrest in Smithtown offers 2 and 3 bedroom units. The Concord Floor Plan, when available, has the master bedroom on the main level.  The other units are 2 story duplex floor plans with the bedrooms on the upper level. There were several models built at Windcrestincluding The Avondale, Brittany, C30, Concords, Dover, Essex and Fairfax floor plans. There is a monthly common charge fee that maintains the common areas. The units have attached 1 or 2 car garages, and there is also guest parking throughout the complex.

Hidden Ponds was opened in 1988 by Route 347, between Mt. Pleasant Road and Terry Road in Smithtown NY.

Larry and Sheila, Realtors have been showing a buyer some units at the Hidden Ponds community. He likes that it is a gated community and that it has amenities like the pool, tennis, gym, clubhouse, play area, and the pretty ponds throughout the neighborhood.  

The units at Hidden Ponds, which is run by a homeowners association, are all attached in groupings. There is Ranch style floor plans and also 2 story Townhouse units. Each residence at Hidden Ponds in Smithtown Long Island has central air conditioning and electric heat. There are two condo communities in Smithtown Long Island called Willow Wood. Realtors Larry & Sheila have been asked by potential buyers about these 2 communities so here is our community profile for both neighborhoods which are situated in The Smithtown School District #1.willow wood smithtown
 
The first Willow Wood (which some say is in Hauppauge Long Island with Smithtown Schools) was opened in 1995 and is located by Route 347 to Mt. Pleasant Road to the entry at Plantation Drive. These are all 2 story Townhouse floor plans with the bedrooms on the upper level.
 
Each unit at Willow Wood has central air conditioning, gas heat, attached 1 car garage and back yard patios. They are 2 bedroom 2 bath units, 2 bedroom 2.5 baths, and 3 bedrooms 2.5 Condos. 
 
There are no amenities at this well-maintained community of Willow Wood in Smithtown New York like a pool or clubhouse, but pets are welcomed and its easy access to parkway, shopping and parks. According to public records of the multiple listing service, in 2011 a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit sold in Willow Wood on Plantation Drive for $308,000.
 
Opened in 1995 through 1998, the 2nd Willow Wood in Smithtown Long Island is located between Townline Road and Terry Road. There are 2 roads surrounded by Willow Wood which are Merrimack Road and Monitor Road.

This Smithtown Willow Wood offers a pool, clubhouse, and exercise room. There were several floor plans built at this North Shore condo which include the Applewood, Beechwood, Cedarwood, Dogwood, and Elmwood, ranging in size from 2 bedrooms 2 baths to 3 bedrooms 2.5 baths.  Besides the 2 Story Townhouse floor plan, there are also some Ranch style units with no steps.

No basements at Willow Wood, but there are attached 1 car garages. According to public records of the multiple listing service, so far as of this date (June 2012) Townhouses on Merrimack Road at Willow Wood sold between $345,000 for a 2 bedroom 2 bath Ranch style to $400,000 for a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath Townhouse.
