Larry and Sheila, Realtors with Charles Rutenberg Realty, have been taking buyers to look at Condos here on The North Shore Of Long Island at Country Pointe in Nesconset.

There are two Condo communities called Country Pointe in Nesconset, which is situated in Suffolk County’s North Shore. They are both 24 hour guard gated communities. 

The original was opened in 2000 by Middle Country Road, just East of Route 347. Several different models were built at Country Pointe including 1 level condos either on the 1st or 2nd floor, 2 Story Townhouses and Ranch Floor Plans. Some of the units have basements too and an attached garage. This 24 hour guard gated community has amenities too. There’s a clubhouse, gym, heated salt-water pool, tennis and play area. According to public records and the multiple listing service, in 2011 twelve condos sold between $350,000 for a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit to $515,000 for a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath. These do not include non-published condos or for sale by owner.

Country Pointe Smithtown North is located off Route 347 and Browns Road and was opened in 2003. This too is a 24 hour guard gated community. Two models were constructed at Country Pointe North, the Brookfied townhouse and the Arden which has the master bedroom on the main level and is an end unit with a 2 car garage.  Some of the amenities at Country Pointe North are a pool, clubhouse, gym, card room, bocci and tennis. When checking public records from the multiple listing service, we found that one townhouse sold at Country Pointe North for $600,000 which was the Arden end unit.

Both Country Pointe’s in Nesconset are pet friendly and have central air conditioning and gas heat, and they are attached units in grouping. Guest parking spaces are scattered throughout the communities.

We had buyers recently who were interested in seeing The Condo community called The Riviera in Port Jefferson Long Island.

 Nestled in a private community on the North Shore of Eastern Long Island in Central Suffolk County, The Riviera was built during the 1970′s into the 1980′s. The community was designed as attached units in a comtemporary style. You can reach this neighborhood from Route 25A and Oakwood Road. 

 There are 95 units at  The Rivieria, on 3 cul-de-sacs,  and also a community pool.   Some of the Condos at  The Rivieria overlook Mt Sinai Harbor and the Long Island Sound, and others back a pretty wooded area.   They are arranged as attached units in groupings of 2, 3 or 5 per section.   As you drive through the pet friendly community of  The Rivieria neighborhood you will pass street names of  Timberline Circle, Rockledge Path, Lookout Ridge Drive, Laurel Crescent, Sawtooth Cove, Overlook Pass and Watersedge Way. 

The Riviera  has access to Port Jefferson amenities including golf, tennis and beaches, and is situated within The Port Jefferson School District #6.  It is close-by to the Port Jefferson Country Club and the popular Port Jefferson Ferry.   Each Condo at this established community, with pretty mature landscaping, has a 1 or 2 car garage and some residences have a basement.  The common ground area landscaping is maintained by the community and snow is removed right up to your front door.  The homeowner’s are responsible for their own landscaping around their unit.  Port Jefferson is a popular day-trip destination.  For more information, the Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce phone number is 631-473-1414
