 The Knolls at Stony Brook is a 55 and over Community in Suffolk County Long Island.

The Knolls was built in 1981 consisting of 191 ranch style units. You can reach The Knolls by Route 347 to Nicolls Road to Oxhead Road.  This Suffolk County residence offers a clubhouse, pool, bocci, shuffleboard, bingo, bridge club, and social events throughout the year.  At this pet friendly community, there are also planned day and overnight trips.

The Knolls at Stony Brook are all Ranch style designs in groupings of 6 or 8 homes and each unit has a 1 car garage.  Most of the residences are 2 bedrooms, but there are some 1 bedroom units in the community also. There is central air conditioning and electric heat in all the units.  According to public records and the multiple listing service,  this 55 and over active senior retirement community had sales in 2009 between  $250,000 to $290,000.
