Just recently we were working with a couple looking for a more leisure lifestyle at a 55 and over community. They liked the idea of what life at an active adult community would bring them. Unfortunately none were available that had all the criteria they were looking for.
Larry and I have sold a similar condo in an All-Age neighborhood, which many empty-nesters live at. Our buyers never heard of this community and never thought about moving to a non-age restricted neighborhood.
We found exactly what they were looking for, except it was not at a 55+ community. As a matter of fact, this community is even more active than some of the adult communities they were first concentrating on. By changing that one item on their wish list, we were able to find this couple “Almost” exactly what they were looking for.
